How do I make my AI agent say numbers, dates and times naturally?

How a number, date or time is written in your prompt or FAQs changes how the voice says it. Numbers, dates and times are the most common things to tweak.

Write figures out in words, or drop symbols such as a plus sign and commas. A figure written as 2,600+ can be read oddly because of the plus sign or the comma.

Tell the agent how to say appointment times. If it reads a time as "four colon zero zero PM", tell it to only offer times in a specific format.

For bookings, tell it to leave out the year, and for a local business to leave out the time zone (for example not saying EST at the end).

Add these instructions to the agent's prompt and test again to hear the result. For a word the agent mispronounces, use the Pronunciation tab in the agent's voice settings.
