Does the AI assistant remember things, and can I customize its memory and instructions?

Yes. The AI assistant has built-in memory, which is on, so it can learn more about you and how you work. To customize it, open Assistant settings, then Memory, where you can update the memory files. You can sometimes export memory from other AI providers and add it there. If you prefer to keep your memories in Claude, you can keep using Claude and connect it to Votel through MCP instead.

You can also customize the assistant's system prompt (who it is and what it is doing) in Assistant settings, under Preferences.

The assistant can access the files in your Library if you want it to, and you can extend it with skills and custom connectors through MCP.
